See If You Live in a “Constitution-Free Zone” (Most Americans Do)

In case you wondered if the United States really is a police state, then take a look at this:

66% of all Americans live in a Constitution-free zone.

Yes, you read that right: 66% of Americans.

How can this be? It’s because the Department of Homeland Security, for our own good, has declared that they can ignore the 4th Amendment (against illegal search and seizure) within 100 miles of all U.S. borders, including those borders which touch on ocean.

What this means is that 197 million Americans, including those in major cities such as New York City, Houston, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia, can have their stuff taken at any time by some DHS agent because he feels like it.

Oh, but as notes.

“[T]he DHS actually reviewed itself and determined that it was acting 100% properly. It also founds that everything it was doing was ‘constitutional’ because it was not actually removing the Constitution from United States soil, only the ‘border’.”

Of course, they may be the only organization that I am aware of that defines the U.S. border as 100 miles from every coast or border with another country.

Utterly ridiculous and scary. Better get your bag ready. Martial law and SHTF can’t be far behind.

  • Hey citizens take a look at the past history of the communists ideology. In other nations when the communists felt they had enough power they began putting a bullet in the heads of their opposition. We here in America are well past the point where in other nations they started killing. They desperately want to start killing us but they are afraid as six or seven out of ten of us are armed.
That is the why behind their continued search for a way to disarm us.
And now you know the rest of the story!

  • we have been brainwashed starting in the 1950’s. government just has to ask and people well give up what ever government want’s; america as we know it or think we do?

  • Sadly, not only do we know what Washington is doing … most of them don’t know what Washington is doing.

  • We’ve lost our rights since our civil war.
when the southern states seceded legally per the Constitution and Lincoln took it upon him self to regain the southern states by force its been dwendling away little by little.

  • Since when does the DEPARTMENT of Homelsnd Security dictate policy? I’ll have to check into this and ask a few Congressmen a few questions. If the rule is 100 miles, then they need to get off shore because the boundary line is 200 miles off the coast… This is hard to believe unless it is during some kind of emergency condition…

  • UNCONSTITUTIONAL ON IT’S FACE. “Any law that is repugnant to the U.S. Constitution is NULL and VOID”- Marbury v Madison, U.S. Supreme court (1803). There are NO constitutionally valid “Constitution Free Zones”, “Free Speech Zones” or “Gun free zones” in the USA. The Constitution applies everywhere within the USA.

  • A State does not have a constitutional right to secede from the Union once it becomes part of it.

  • Well let’s see if I’m north of the Mexican border and the south of the Canadian border, the Constitution of the United States is the law of the land. DHS can go suck an egg.

  • Yes i think you are right the did make or amended that to the consitution to were you couldn’t leave. But that is not how it is write from our founding father they were pretty straight forward with being able to be free and separate state. Probably changed around the civil war when the south tried to leave because of high teriffs and taxs tto fund and grow the northeren states.

  • Strange, by international treaty US waters extend 12 nautical miles from the shore, they are legally authorized to exercise control up to 24 nautical miles (27.6 statute miles) from their shoreline, yet on shore they have expanded that to almost four times that distance (inside our own country). Where is the sense in that?

  • The Ninth and Tenth amendments of the Bill of Rights as well as the fundamental founding principles of the Declaration of Independence guarantees the right of secession. There was never a constitutional amendment to prevent secession. Nothing was settled at Appomattox Court House and the Bennett House except which party to the war had superior force and no moral restraint.

  • In 1960 april ,25 I signed my name that I would defend my country, and constitution. In 1967 when I got out of the Marines I was still signed up to defend my country, so home land security better stand back. I still know how to shoot.

  • We need to continue to educate and awaken the American people, North, South, East and West. Secession is the final resort if other methods to restore liberty and the US Constitution, as written and ratified by the Founding Fathers, fail.
