Climate change hysteria has gotten out of control.
Far-left activists are using ever-increasing language on the issue.
And now a group of unhinged environmentalists just made a shocking threat.
A radical environmentalist group called Extinction Rebellion has been causing a major stir.
The group has already embarked on a campaign to gridlock 60 major cities around the world by blocking roads.
And they’re becoming even more radical.
At an Amnesty International conference, Extinction Rebellion founder Roger Hallam, said, “We’re going to force the governments to act…And if they don’t, we will bring them down and create a democracy fit for purpose. And yes, some may die in the process.”
That is a chilling statement given the radical history of the environmentalist movement.
Being concerned about the environment is one thing, but these people are far-left radicals to the core, and they’re celebrated by the so-called mainstream media.
The latest poster child for the environmentalist movement is Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg who has been elevated as the prodigal child among the far left.
But the green movement has essentially always been about taking over the economy.
The Green New Deal is just the latest and most outlandish example.
Consider the term “watermelon” which has existed for decades.
Being green on the outside and red on the inside, the term “watermelon” describes communists (red) who cloak their ideology in environmental causes (green).
But the solution is always the same: more and more government control of the economy in order to “save the planet.”
However, these people don’t even know what that means.
Their predictions over the past 50+ years have been laughably inaccurate.
Environmentalists predicted that we’d run out of oil decades ago; there’s more oil now than there was at the time of prediction.
They said overpopulation would lead to mass starvation and kill billions.
Not only are there more people, but global poverty has been cut in half since the early 1980s.
The green lobby has flipped-flopped between catastrophic global warming and catastrophic global cooling.
Some environmentalists have predicted that rising temperatures would make the place uninhabitable, while others said a new ice age would cause mass extinction.
They dealt with this inconsistency by applying the nebulous term “climate change” instead because it’s impossible to argue with that.
The climate is always changing – and that’s about all they can prove.
However, the push for climate change activism is getting more radical because the left as a whole has become more radical.
A group like Extinction Rebellion is just the tip of the spear.
One can only imagine how radical people will become because they’ve bought into the propaganda that life on Earth will cease to exist in 12 years.
Extinction Rebellion and their leftist allies cannot be taken lightly.
The left is more than willing to excuse and engage in violence when it advances their cause.
