I’m not going to tell you that I support the United Nations. I don’t. I don’t trust them, and they have made their left-leaning, even Marxist tendencies very clear, as they seek to control the populations of their member nations “for the good of the people.”
Their latest tactic is to “subsidize” the media’s coverage of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
So, Ted Turner and his group of environmentalist-beyond-rationality friends (which includes those who run the UN), is ponying up $6 million for “training” and cash to media outlets that report on SDG.
And then they have the gall to insist that they aren’t buying off the media.
I’ll give Ted Turner this: he can keep a straight face while saying some “questionable” things.
Essentially, though, you don’t have to look too hard to tell that the UN is trying to shape the media coverage of their environmental policies to force-feed only the information that they want to pass on to people. And, to make it even more noxious, environmentalists almost invariably want the government to take over everything “for our own good.”
It’s one step closer to having to use that bug-out bag that you have packed. What do you think? Tell us below.
