Americans are notorious for not knowing their history. This may not be unique among people worldwide, but I can definitively state that about my fellow Americans. And it’s not just American history that they don’t know; Americans tend to know even less about world history. Now that I’ve said that, you have a valid reason to ask, “Why should I care?” Great question. The answer is:
Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.
You see, human nature doesn’t change, and governments pull tactics that have worked in the past, and they recycle them and reuse them again in the present and in the future. For example, take the Reichstag fire in 1933. There are conflicting stories about who started the fire (the official story is that a Dutch communist did it, but some people think it was set by the Nazis to provide an excuse for what they did next.), but what is abundantly clear is that the Nazis used the Reichstag fire as their justification for suspending civil liberties and starting to arresting people that they accused of being communists. Basically, this was the beginning of the Nazi reign of terror in Germany.
If the Nazis set the fire as an excuse to take control, the Reichstag Fire would be a perfect example of a “false flag” event. Frankly, groups that want power will use any excuse. Whether you believe the 9/11 Twin Tower and Pentagon attacks were covert operations by our own government or were actions by terrorists, it’s clear that the U.S. government used those attacks as their excuse to pass the Patriot Act which put in place massive invasions of privacy and the option to control the U.S. population by the government.
The thing that you need to know in all of this is that some prominent people are warning that the entrenched bureaucracy in Washington is planning to create false flag events during the Trump administration to start a war. Steve Watson writes,
“Former Congressman and Libertarian icon Ron Paul has warned that ‘shadow government’ neocons could orchestrate a ‘false flag’ incident in order to drag new president Donald Trump into a fresh war.”
And, if you know your history, wars are times when governments suspend civil liberties, even if the war is fought overseas.
What you need to be aware of is that an even greater lock-down of the populace in our country is a distinct possibility, and you need to be prepared for when it happens. Because, if you know your history, it shouldn’t be a surprise when it eventually does happen.
