This Scary Protest Is A Warning Sign Of What’s Coming To America

Civil unrest is growing in the United States.
The mainstream media is creating chaos and it’s ripping the country apart.
But one terrifying protest should be a very clear warning sign of the dangers headed America’s way.
For months, peaceful protests have been occurring in Hong Kong against the communist government of mainland China.
Protesters have actually been waving the American flag and calling for Second Amendment rights to defend themselves – which should be a sobering wake-up call to Americans.
An archipelago off the east coast of mainland China, Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated regions in the world with over 7 million people.
The citizens of Hong Kong are protesting because the communist government of mainland China has gradually been exerting more influence on the region.
For over 150 years, Hong Kong was a British territory that operated under capitalist principles and was transformed from a virtually desolate fishing outpost to one of the richest and most prosperous areas in the world.
Hong Kong’s freedom and success are in stark contrast to the starvation and genocide that has occurred under the communist rule of mainland China.
In the early 1980s, China threatened to take Hong Kong by force if the British didn’t turn it over.
The British finally ceded stewardship of Hong Kong back to China in 1997 after years of negotiation.
When Hong Kong was handed over to China, it was supposed to work under the principle of “one country, two systems,” meaning Hong Kong would be exempt from the authoritarianism of the communist party.
But the Hong Kong protests are proof that the communists are not pleased with that arrangement.
The flashpoint issue with the protests was over a proposal that Hong Kong citizens could be tried for alleged crimes in the mainland.
Hong Kong citizens rightly recognized that this was a gross violation of their freedom, as the Chinese government has a 99.9% conviction rate and capital cases are adjudicated in under 20 minutes.
The proposal was ultimately defeated, but Chinese troops have been amassing on the border in case the Hong Kong protesters continue to be defiant of communist encroachment.
This isn’t the first time Hong Kong citizens have protested against mainland aggression.
In 2014, the Umbrella Revolution saw countless protesters occupy the streets with umbrellas to show their disapproval over a proposal from the communist party that would’ve essentially allowed them to influence Hong Kong elections.
Hong Kong has enjoyed freedom and they don’t want to give it up, so they wave our flag.
Meanwhile, leftists in America have been pushing for decades to undo the freedoms granted by the Constitution.
It’s sad that Hong Kong protesters believe in America more than liberals do.
Worse yet, many far-left liberals in America are more sympathetic to the communist regime than the cause of the protesters.
If protesters on the other side of the globe waving the American flag and calling for gun rights isn’t a clear sign of the threat of government, nothing will shake people out of their indoctrination.
Our constitutional rights are sacred and must be upheld, and not just in Hong Kong.
