Radical Mayor Forced to Receive Trump’s Help After One Horrific Incident

Donald Trump has called out the main enemy attempting to destroy America.

It’s the radical left, and too many Democrat officials are providing them aid and comfort.

But a radical mayor was forced to receive Trump’s help after one horrific incident.

Violence in Chicago is completely out of control.

The city has been controlled by Democrats for 80 years, and the city’s murder rate is consistently one of the worst in the country.

Over Memorial Day weekend alone, 49 Chicagoans were shot and ten were killed.

It’s only gotten worse since then.

Fourth of July weekend saw even more chaos and death.

Meanwhile, far-left Mayor Lori Lightfoot has done little to quell the violence.

She’s even praised the rioters and fought with her own aldermans over the mayhem in the city.

Finally, Donald Trump had seen enough and he announced that task forces would be deployed to out-of-control cities to supplement police resources and protect federal buildings.

The corrupt corporate press predictably called the move fascist even though literal fascists are burning buildings, attacking journalists, and intimidating local businesses and passersby.

Portland in particular has spiraled entirely out of control.

In reaction to Trump’s announcement, Lightfoot said she was vehemently opposed to any federal agents setting foot in her city.

She even resorted to the sad leftist trope of invoking one of the isms to beat back justified critiques.

In this case, Lightfoot not-so-subtly accused Trump of sexism because he was critical of three female mayors.

That attack fell flat, because Trump is equally critical of everyone who’s incompetent at his or her job.

But Lightfoot was forced to change her tone after a horrific attack near a funeral home where 15 people were shot.

One witness at the scene said, “All we saw was just bodies…shot up everywhere, all over. Legs, stomach, back, all over the place. We thought it was a war out here.”

Lightfoot’s office put out a statement that said Trump “reached out to Mayor Lightfoot this evening to confirm that he plans to send federal resources to Chicago to supplement ongoing federal investigations pertaining to violent crime…The conversation was brief and straightforward…Mayor Lightfoot maintains that all resources will be investigatory in nature and be coordinated through the U.S. Attorney’s office…The Mayor has made clear that if there is any deviation from what has been announced, we will pursue all available legal options to protect Chicagoans.”

Lightfoot’s statement tried to save face, but the reality is clear: If she’s serious about protecting her citizens, she should accept all the help she can get.

Some of these far-left Democrats in office are starting to receive blowback from their ridiculous soft-on-crime policies.

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan was forced to disband the autonomous zone that communists established in a six-block area of downtown after multiple murders took place.

The city is currently being sued by one of the grieving parents of the victims.

No matter how hard leftists try, they can’t change reality.

And the consequences for their faulty thinking are often deadly.
