Nordic countries have become a playground for government control freaks, and, for those with eyes to see, the future of every country that is moving in the same direction can be witnessed. Take this, for example:
In Sweden, banks call the police on you if you pay in “too much” cash because they automatically assume that you are a terrorist or criminal.
Think about this for a minute. If a bank employee suspects you of doing something remotely “fishy,” then they call the cops on you. What qualifies as suspicious? Who knows. Maybe they don’t like your haircut or your accent or that you have a Christian cross on a necklace around your neck.
What makes this especially scary is that our current administration likes to take cues from foreign governments for ideas of things that they can implement here. If the Feds can stomp out cash usage, then they can track everything that you buy both for manipulation and potential blackmail. (Got something to hide? They can follow the money trail.)
This is scary stuff, and you can bet that the Feds are thinking of how they can shove this down our collective throats. It may be time to sharpen your bartering skills.
