History shows over and over again that, when a society is moving towards a point of collapse, those in power attempt to put a strangle-hold on those that they govern in an attempt to retain power.
We’re starting to see that happen now. A new report put out by the Department of Homeland Security (am I the only one who thinks of Nazi Germany when I hear reference to homelands?) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation assert that the “sovereign citizen” movement is a key threat in domestic terrorism. In fact, a 2014 report compared the threat of the sovereign citizen movement to be more dangerous than Islamic terrorists and jihadists.
The DHS report asserts:
“(Sovereign citizen) violence during 2015 will occur most frequently during routine law enforcement encounters at a suspect’s home, during enforcement stops and at government offices.”
What makes this so disturbing is that the overwhelming majority of people who will be lumped in under this label simply want to be left alone to live a life of peace without government breathing down their neck. These people have no desire or intention of violence.
Remember, though, that repressive regimes have historically used accusations of danger to preemptively justify the oppression that they plan on inflicting. Get ready now, while you can, to disappear and survive.
