What to do if the Government Makes This Frightening Move

The threat of government tyranny should always be at the back of Americans’ minds.

This is precisely why the Second Amendment exists.

Here’s what you need to know if the government decides to make one alarming move.

America’s Founding Fathers were deeply skeptical of government and with good reason.

They were keen students of history that understood the horrors of an out-of-control government.

Upon exiting the Constitutional Convention, Benjamin Franklin remarked to a citizen they had constructed, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

Thomas Jefferson once said, “The natural progress of things is for the government to gain ground and for liberty to yield.”

The warnings from Franklin and Jefferson become more and more relevant each day.

The Democratic Party was once reasonably moderate, but it has been completely captured by socialists who want to make government as big and domineering as possible.

Making matters worse, leftists believe speech literally equals violence, and the Second Amendment is outdated.

If leftists sweep into government and quash the first two amendments—and they’re already assaulting them—massive civil unrest will follow.

The left could literally trigger a civil war with their anti-American policies.

If the civil unrest gets too unwieldy, the government could institute martial law.

If that unthinkable scenario happens, make sure you’re eminently prepared.

Make sure you’re stocked up on supplies, because you’ll want to leave the house as little as possible.

Any external interaction puts you at risk of becoming a target.

The more concealed your bunker or stockpile is, the better you’ll be able to conceal if a search of your house were to occur.

Don’t unnecessarily antagonize the soldiers.

Provocation will only make matters worse.

Just go about your business and wait for a return to normalcy, as martial law is temporary.

Avoid any type of inflammatory behavior, such as unruly protects, or incendiary demonstrations.

Again, this will make you a target, and that’s exactly what you don’t want under martial law.

Also, be tight-lipped with all information.

One of the true horrors of the Soviet Union is that people were encouraged to inform on friends and family members.

Speaking out against the regime or engaging in any type of subversive behavior was considered a serious crime.

Under martial law, don’t give out important information.

It could be used against you and your family.

You don’t want people to know that you have a bunker with a surplus of goods.

Keeping a low profile gives you the best chance to pull through unscathed.

If you find yourself in a dystopian nightmare where the martial law is indefinite and the government is abusing its power in heinous ways, then the calculus may change.

But for the most part, your best odds under martial law are to be quiet, keep your head down, and outlast the crisis.

That’s exactly what being a prepper is all about.

That will give you a leg up against everyone else.

While others are panicking and making potentially life-threatening decisions, you’ll be ready for anything.
