Government officials in power are always uneasy about a free populace.

Now globalists have devised a terrifying plan to limit your free speech.

The United Nations is always hostile to America.

The UN includes a collection of many nations that hate the United States and the concept of freedom in general.

Some of the most oppressive regimes on the planet have representation amid the UN.

That’s why UN resolutions constantly tilt against the U.S. and individual freedom.

And it’s exactly the case with a resolution proposed by both China and Russia.

The two belligerent countries proposed a resolution that would establish a committee of supposed international experts to stop technological communication for criminal purposes and the UN’s General Assembly has approved.

If such an apparatus were put in place, it could be used as a justification by authoritarian governments to crack down on free speech under the guise of policing “criminal” activity.

Both Russia and China have no qualms about censorship.

Russian authorities have murdered several journalists, and China is a totalitarian hellscape where any dissent could be met with extreme measures.

Pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong have been fighting against encroachment from the communist government of mainland China for months.

But China and Russia aren’t the only threats.

Censorship has made its way to western countries.

England, Germany, and other European countries have hate speech laws on the books that can send people to jail for “offensive” posts on social media.

Canada and Australia also have frightening restrictions on speech.

A comedian in Canada was recently brought before a human rights tribunal for telling a supposedly inappropriate joke.

Regarding the proposed UN resolution, Human Rights Watch said proponents of the measure represent “a rogue’s gallery of some of the earth’s most repressive governments” and “gives countries legal cover for internet blackouts and censorship, while creating the potential for criminalizing free speech.”

This is precisely how the globalist forces want it.

UN globalists strongly advocated for mass migration and rapid refugee resettlement from the Middle East despite European citizens not being fully on board with the agenda.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel was even caught on a hot mic imploring Mark Zuckerberg to censor criticism of mass migration on Facebook.

Zuckerberg replied, “We’re working on it.”

This UN resolution would undoubtedly be used as a Trojan horse to crack down on speech.

It’s already happening on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

You can literally be banned from Twitter for saying something as benign and true as “men aren’t women.”

Globalists know they can’t win the argument, so they instead have to shut it down entirely.

Limiting free speech is always a terrible idea that has terrible outcomes.

But authoritarians use the threat of harm and the salve of protection in order to convince people to give up their rights.

Fortunately, the United States has a constitution that enshrines these rights, but globalists will continue to chip away at it.
