There are many threats that endanger the United States.
One of the scariest is the threat of terrorism.
And this foiled terror plot could be a dangerous sign of more to come.
The nightmare of the 9/11 terrorist attack showed America that the country is not immune from evil terror plots.
Subsequent attacks have been thwarted, but some small-scale terror plots have been successful on American soil.
Since Donald Trump’s election, he’s dealt a crippling blow to ISIS, but scattered members and splinter groups still exist.
And the recent arrests of two terrorists prove that.
Somali refugee Ahmed Mahad Mohamed and Abdi Yemani Hussein were arrested by the FBI in an attempt to join ISIS or carry out a domestic terror attack.
The Department of Justice released a statement saying that the two men were arrested for “conspiring to provide material support and resources to ISIS.”
Trump tweeted about the ordeal:
Somali refugees arresed in Tucson on way to Egypt. They were in touch with an agent posing as a terrorist. One of them stated, “The best wake up call is Islamic State to get victory or another 9/11.” Get smart people! #MAGA #KAG @foxandfriends

This plot failed, but this should be a wake-up call to Americans that the threat of Islamic terror hasn’t vanished.
Ex-Muslims like Somali refugee Ayaan Hirsi Ali has warned of this global threat, as has Muslim reformer Imam Mohamad Tawhidi.
For their trouble, both of them—and others—have been marked for death by Islamic extremists and labeled as anti-Islamic hate preachers by the sham institution Southern Poverty Law Center.
People who dare speak out about the threat of Islamic terror get smeared as “Islamophobic.”
This is simply a tactic to shut down free speech.
Meanwhile, terror plots such as this one are taking place.
Multiple Islamic terror compounds where children were being radicalized and trained to become school shooters were raided.
Islamist Linda Sarsour called for “jihad” against the White House and told Muslims in America not to assimilate to the culture.
Recently in Philadelphia, a shocking video showed children being indoctrinated by singing songs about committed acts of terror in the name of Allah.
Contributing to this problem is a far-left educational system that teaches children and refugees that America is an evil, bigoted place that hates them.
The personification of this is freshman Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.
Omar, a Somali refugee herself, was taken in by our country, educated in this country, and elected to Congress.
But she’s shown nothing but ingratitude and hostility toward the nation that took her in.
Not only that, she nonchalantly referred to 9/11 as “some people did something,” and asked for leniency for members of her district who attempted to join ISIS, a phenomenon that’s sadly not unique in her district.
Her rationale is that America is so racist that it marginalized the men to join ISIS.
It stands to reason she would likely ask for leniency for these latest terrorists, as well.
This is a dangerous position for America to reside.
Terror warning signs like this one are swept under the rug, and a woman who asks for clemency for terrorists is a member of Congress.
Don’t ignore the red flags.
Speak out against extremism where it exists so people like Sarsour and Omar aren’t allowed to stifle honest conversations about our safety in this country.
