The Wuhan coronavirus has caused untold damage around the globe.
World governments and medical professionals are scrambling to get the pandemic under control.
But the coronavirus might’ve spread because of one corrupt official.
The number of confirmed cases for the Wuhan coronavirus is quickly approaching 400,000 and the death toll has surpassed 16,000.
The damage to the global economy has been incalculable.
And according to a recent study, as much as 95-percent of the outbreak could’ve been prevented if not for the actions of the Communist Chinese government.
The ruling Communist Party of China did nothing to contain the virus when they first learned of it in mid-November.
Instead, they silenced doctors, hospital administrators, and citizen journalists who tried to report on the outbreak.
They also covered up the fact that the virus could be transmitted from person to person.
And it appears they might’ve gotten help from one official.
WHO (World Health Organization) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who goes by Dr. Tedros, parroted China’s narrative that the Wuhan coronavirus wasn’t passed from person to person despite warnings of the contrary from Taiwan.
"Health officials in Taipei said they alerted the @WHO at the end of Dec. about the risk of human-to-human transmission of the new virus but said its concerns were not passed on…"

Dr. Tedros also said that restricting air travel with China was a mistake, even though many countries have now closed their borders to limit the spread of the virus.
But what makes Dr. Tedros’s behavior particularly alarming is his past relationship with China.
Dr. Tedros had worked closely with the Chinese government when he was the health minister of Ethiopia and China made a strong push for Dr. Tedros to receive his position at the WHO.
According to a report from The Daily Caller, “Tedros won the election despite widely covered accusations that he covered up three different cholera epidemics as health minister in Ethiopia. Though he goes by ‘Dr. Tedros,’ the WHO chief isn’t a medical doctor but has a Ph.D. in public health.”
Dr. Tedros also tried to appoint former brutal Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe as a UN goodwill ambassador – a move that was considered a sop to the Chinese.
Mugabe’s appointment was eventually shot down amid severe backlash.
Dr. Tedros and the WHO have lauded China’s response to the coronavirus, while criticizing China’s adversaries.
There have also been reports that China is lying about having the outbreak completely under control.
It’s hard to say because we can’t trust the Communist Party of China to give accurate information, and sadly, it looks like we may not be able to trust WHO, either.
