Black Lives Matter has been exposed as a radical Marxist group.
But the so-called mainstream media gives them a pass.
Now Black Lives Matter is causing a shocking trend in one city.
The group Black Lives Matter exploited the heinous murder of George Floyd to promote their own radical agenda.
One of the co-founders of the group openly said in an interview that they’re “trained Marxists,” which means their radical agenda couldn’t be any clearer.
Nevertheless, the corporate press and local Democrat politicians have given BLM free rein to protest, riot, loot, and even kill.
In Atlanta, BLM radicals shot and killed eight-year-old Secoriea Turner because her mother made the “mistake” of pulling up into a parking lot that was occupied by the group.
This type of sanctioned lawlessness has sprouted across the country and New York City is one of the worst affected.
Socialist Mayor Bill de Blasio has made it clear he’s firmly on the side of the radical left and not his own police force.
As a result of the chaos that’s befallen New York, citizens are fleeing in droves.
“More than 10,000 apartments were listed for rent in Manhattan in June, an increase of 85% over last year, according to a report from Miller Samuel and Douglas Elliman…In an effort to fill all those vacant apartments, landlords are dropping prices and offering ever-larger incentives.”
There was a significant uptick in rental availabilities since the nonstop rioting and looting have overwhelmed the city.
And the left’s howls to defund the police have only made the problem worse.
Shootings in New York are up and citizens have had enough.
Sales are being hit just as hard as rental units.
“Manhattan apartment sales in the second quarter fell by 54%, the largest percentage decline in 30 years, according to a report from Miller Samuel and Douglas Elliman…The median sales price fell 18% to $1 million, which is the biggest decline in a decade.”
Manhattanites can’t sell their places fast enough.
This is precisely what liberal policies do to a city.
Soft-on-crime policies cause an increase in violent crime, the tax base flees for safety, then social services decline due to a lack of taxpayer funding.
Minneapolis is currently in the throes of this cycle.
The far-left city council voted to defund the police and do-gooder liberals in a neighborhood called Powderhorn Park are attempting to live by that ethos.
Thus far, it’s been a disaster as homeless encampments have popped up, bringing increased property crime with them.
Liberal policies are a giant fail when they’re put into action, and it’s the most vulnerable populations that suffer.
