The rise of Islamic extremism is arguably the greatest global threat.
Violent terrorist attacks carried about by jihadists have rocked dozens of countries in a relatively short amount of time.
But one disturbing video shows that the threat is ascending in the United States.
Americans have been shaken and angered by high-profile Islamic attacks on U.S. soil, such as 9/11, the Orlando night club shooting, and the San Bernadino shooting, among others.
U.S. military forces have weakened some terrorist groups abroad, but Americans aren’t paying attention to the homegrown threat.
Recently, a chilling video of an event held by the Muslim American Society in Philadelphia featured young kids singing songs about beheading people in the name of Allah.
Imam Mohamad Tawhidi, an Islamic reformer who has been marked for death by extremist factions, has been sounding the alarm on the radical Islamic threat to western countries, and commented on the shocking video:
We warn the West from what we fled from in the Middle East, but the West doesn’t want to listen. This is your next generation: https://t.co/3zeU2PFSfa

Hassan Sajwani, a writer from the United Arab Emirates, also commented on the video and mentioned that the UAE designated the Muslim American Society a terrorist organization:
Tawhidi’s warning is becoming truer and truer in Europe at a rapid pace.
As the Muslim population has grown exponentially, the increase in anti-Semitic and anti-Christian attacks has skyrocketed.
In 2018 alone, 875 churches were vandalized in France.
Also, nearly 2,000 French citizens left the country to fight for ISIS.
These are homegrown terrorists, many born and raised in privilege, and they’re cropping up all over Europe.
Instead of calling out extremism, Europe seems more interested in ignoring the problem.
Europe is often the canary in the coal mine for the United States, and sadly, America isn’t yet waking up to the threat of Islamic extremism.
One inquiry showed that as many as 80% of mosques in the United States preach a form of violence.
As Sajwani noted, the Muslim American Society has terrorist ties, which should be evident in the disgusting video.
But they aren’t the only group.
CAIR (the Council on American-Islamic Relations), ISNA (the Islamic Society of North America), and other groups have concerning ties to terrorist organizations and sympathizers.
The Holy Land Foundation, an Islamic charity that had been operating in Dallas, Texas, was investigated and labeled a terrorist front group.
And CAIR was labeled as an unindicted co-conspirator in the case.
During a raid of the foundation, the FBI found a document called “the plan,” which was an extremist plot to gradually conquer America through immigration and high birth rates.
This is already taking place in Europe.
Mohamed is now the most popular baby name in Berlin and all of the UK.
Obviously, not all Muslims subscribe to the violent and regressive tenets of Islam—most do not—but a concerning percentage do.
It doesn’t help that leftists in the west are teaching kids to hate their culture, which contributes to French-born Muslims fighting for ISIS.
In America, provocateurs like Linda Sarsour—who are championed by the left—are making the problem worse.
In a controversial speech, Sarsour called for “jihad” against the White House and told American Muslims not to assimilate.
This is a radical and dangerous language, but Sarsour is considered some type of thought leader on the left.
The same goes for Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who has made several anti-American comments.
Omar even pled for leniency for Muslims who left America to join ISIS.
The threat of Islamic extremism should be watched with a careful eye, but the media are more focused on white supremacy, which has no political power or institutional support.
If the Philadelphia video had been of a modern-day Hitler youth rally, the media would appropriately be blasting it everywhere.
Instead, only conservative outlets have reported on the troubling incident.
Thus far, the Muslim American Society merely labeled it an “oversight.”
No liberal publications are interested in the story, so that mealy-mouthed excuse will likely hold.
As a survivalist, it’s important to be prepared for threats in all forms, but the best way to combat extremism is to call it out by name when you see it.
