One Democrat Made A Shocking Admission About A National Emergency

Illegal Immigration

The core of the Democrat Party has been overrun by wild-eyed socialists.

The most extreme voices are rising to the top and pushing the party to some scary places.

But one Democrat stood against the mob and said something surprising about one national emergency.

The crisis on the southern border rages on, and Democrats refuse to take action.

Illegal immigration has reached record levels, a lot of which can be attributed to Democrats broadcasting to the entire third world that they can at will.

Leftist activist groups are also adding to the fire by encouraging mass illegal immigration into the country and providing resources and coordination.

Multiple migrant caravans from Central America have sped through Mexico with food, water, and shelter provided by far-left organizations.

Donald Trump ran on building a wall and curtailing the burden of unfettered illegal immigration, but Democrats have opposed him at every turn out of spite.

However, even Democrats are beginning to understand that Trump is right.

ICE and CBP are being overwhelmed by the numbers of illegal aliens, some of which are actually renting children in order to make false asylum claims.

The Democrats in Congress refuse to unlock funding for border patrol to expand the number of beds and facilities for detainees.

And mayors in border towns are getting sick of it.

A few Republican mayors have declared emergencies, and now a Democratic mayor is speaking out.

Bruno Lozano of Del Rio, Texas is fed with up with the Democrats at the federal level because his small town is ill-equipped to handle the rapid influx of illegal aliens

Lozano said:

“We’re frustrated. We’re extremely frustrated. Our priorities on the city council are our streets, are our parks, are the economy, are the drive of the community and the places of worship and the places to have leisure activities. It is not the priority to solve immigration.”

This is exactly right.

In fact, when Trump first floated the idea of moving illegal aliens to sanctuary cities, the left went berserk.

Instead, they’d rather have them flood into towns that can’t handle that many arrivals all at once.

Lozano also said he and his community “are sick and tired of the deaf ears,” meaning Congress, namely, the Democrats, refuse to do anything about the crisis.

Senator Minority Leader Chuck Schumer even admitted that he’d prefer to keep the immigration problem unsolved so the Democrats can blame Trump for the problem.

Lozano continued:

“They need to see firsthand what’s going on. They need to understand the frustrations that the commissioners, or that the city council, the school board, the hospital officials are managing [and] having to deal with.”

Lozano’s complaints highlight one of the biggest problems of the Democrats: they advocate for policies that they themselves are insulated from.

It’s easy for rich Democrats in Hollywood or New York or D.C. to “welcome” immigrants, but none of them are going to be moving into Beverly Hills or the Upper East Side or Potomac.

They’ll be going to a place like Del Rio, Texas.

Raging Hollywood leftist Cher is one of Trump’s most strident critics, but even she acknowledged in a tweet that Los Angeles couldn’t deal with a mass influx of illegal aliens on top of the problems (such as homelessness) the city already has.

Cher was oblivious to the fact she made a “Los Angeles first” argument.

Many leftists instinctively make conservative arguments when faced with reality.

For example, actress Debra Messing, another wild leftist, complained about Donald Trump raising her taxes.

She had to be reminded that her side is the Party of higher and higher taxes.

Leftism is unnatural.

It takes a lot of mental gymnastics to support these arguments.

As Margaret Thatcher once said, “The facts of life are conservative.”

Lozano and the citizens of Del Rio are seeing that first-hand.
