One Court Case Could Severely Threaten Your Gun Rights

second amendment

The Second Amendment has never been so fiercely under assault.

Democrats are lurching further to the left, emboldening the hardcore gun grabbers in the party.

Now one court case poses a major threat to gun rights and self-defense.

A gun rights group is suing the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives  (ATF) over the unlawful banning of bump stocks.

Bump stocks became a four-letter word after the Las Vas mass shooting, but the ATF and FBI haven’t even definitively proven the shooter actually used a bump stock.

Based on data, bump stocks do not pose a great risk to public safety, as the ATF contests.

The ATF has presented no evidence that bump stocks have been used in the commission of a crime.

Even though bump stocks allow for semi-automatics to fire more rapidly because of how they absorb recoil, they are wildly inaccurate for the unskilled shooter.

Bump firing is a technique, not an accessory.

The effects of a bump stock can be duplicated with belt loops, rubber bands, and other common items.

The panic over bump stocks is a gambit for gun control advocates to further encroach on gun rights.

If bump stock regulations get crammed through, it’s the next step toward banning AR-15s and other semi-automatic rifles.

Semi-automatic rifles are popular weapons for home self-defense because of their reliability, capacity, and velocity.

Without them, handling multiple home invaders becomes increasingly difficult.

If the ATF successfully argues that bump stocks are a grave safety threat, they can make the same argument for all semi-automatic weapons that can be modified with simple household items.

The government can’t ban belts and rubber bands, so they’ll settle for your rifle.

This has always been the long game for gun grabbers.

The most honest ones openly admit it.

Owners of bump stocks would become criminals overnight once the ban takes effect on March 26th.

That could pave the way to gun confiscation.

Some local law enforcement agencies have chosen to ignore recent Second Amendment overreach by Democrat legislatures.

Second Amendment “sanctuaries” are cropping up in states like New Mexico, Illinois, and Washington.

Even though those states are blue—due to the big urban centers—many of the counties are still Republican.

This is the next gun rights battle.

If the gun control activists are successful, they could incite a civil war.

Mass disruption would definitely ensue.

Be sure to know your gun rights, and be prepared if widespread civil disorder becomes a reality.

The fear of government tyranny was exactly why the founding fathers crafted the Second Amendment, and leftists are turning their fears into a reality.

This is precisely why it’s important to be ready for the unexpected.

Totalitarian governments were responsible for over 100 million deaths in the 20th century.

The American experiment of limited government is constantly under threat from the same totalitarian ideas.

Don’t get caught off guard.

Sharpen your survivalist skills, and have your bug-out bag ready.
